  1. well he can go home. but if you are doing something ilegally you have to face the fact that you get punished. see it vice versa what Japanese authority would do when a Filippino overstays 10 years...But since money is a big factor in the Philippines try to give some pasalubong ( little presents ) to important people

  2. tell him to go the japanese embassy in Manila. I'm sure his own people will help him. I suggest NOT to go to Recto, as this place is now always being spot checked by the police - which could get him in bigger trouble.

  3. ok .. well im half filipino and half british. im holding british passport. i over stayed there a 3 months and i just had 2 pay a penalty. but 4 10 yrs. i can it can be paid of cause thats plenty money. they never say no to money . unless he will try get a new passport illegally. so many are doing it. to get that they go recto there. 1 thing is in the philippines money can buy anything. good luck mate. just email me if any more questions.

  4. well, this is difficult matter, the only thing i can see? is a big fine, deported and barred for ever,from entering Manila, unless, you get get jail time? that? i do not know,

    does he still have a passport? has he renewed since he has been there? which? usually is very difficult if you are in situation such as this one...

    the embassy does not help people who are in an illegal situation....;

    i wish i had a better answer? but i do not,
