My friend forgot his ipod lock code!!!?

is ther like a way to to unlock it with out knowing the code!!??

Yes, if he plugs it into the computer that he normally syncs with and opens up itunes there is an option somewhere in the drop down menus or ipod settings for unlocking it without the code.  Im sorry I cant be more specific, but I know for sure its in itunes because it tells you that on your ipod when you make the lock code.

EDIT:  You DO NOT need to wipe it out and restore it to factory settings!!  There is an option in itunes to fix this problem, it happens sometimes.

Plug it into the original sync computer, open up iTunes.

The computer will recognize the iPod and will no longer be locked.

connect it to your computer and then restore it. it&#039;ll wipe it out to factory settings.

some1 once told me that if u plug it into the computer it goes away not sure though havent tried it
