My friend gave me his character on ffxi and im trying to use it on my xbox 360 but it will not work.?

It says something about the gamer profile not being linked try with a different gamer profile even though i made a new 1. I made a brand new gamer profile and it still says the same thing please please help me.

Unfortunately It is linked to his gamer tag for 360. Once a person registers it to their gamer tag it can only be used under that tag.

You will have to log in under his gamer tag.
