My friend got a D in her 7th grade year..1st semister and 2nd...now shes worried about college!?

well my friend hates math but she tried and she got a D in both semisters..she took pre algebra in 7th grade..she was fine cuz pre algebra is for 7th graders..but now shes worried that she might not go to algebra 1..but i asked my math teacher and she said..D is barely passing..so she's fine..so yes..but can 2 D's in middle school stop her from going to a very good college?

she hates community colleges so thats why she's worried..but she ok right???
