My friend got a tattoo of a star?

on her wrist, it was red around the tattoo when she first got it done now the star is raised and the center of it were there is supposed to be color is no white, a pit has formed in the center like the skin softened considerably. Tattoo experts have you ever seen this before? She is going to the doc tomorrow.

It sounds like the artist had a heavy hand causing the tattoo to raise and be scarred. No big worries though, most scarring can be fixed. I would honesly suggest that she sees the tattooist before she sees the doctor, they might be able to give her more options as of what to do before you spend money at the doctors and they tell you theres nothing they can do for you.
