My friend got arrested for a drug charge and now they are charged with a felony can he get a job?

MY friend got arrested for a drug charge and has a felony can he get a job anywhere or its going to be really hard?

I doubt that even 7-11 would hire him with a felony conviction.

Can he get a job? - Sure. Is it going to be really hard? - You bet.

After a felony conviction he will need to start over at the bottom and prove himself as reliable and honest.

Depends. Did he just get arrested or was he convicted? They only ask if you were convicted of a crime on job applications

Most places will not automatically disqualify you legally. But its hard to prove that you are reliable when that's all you have on paper. He needs to get a chance at a easy job, then work there for a while and prove himself. Then at the next place, at least he has a good work record to balance it.

No problem until he's convicted.  Until that point, he has no record (as to this case anyway).  The problem is that companies have a wide range of discretion as to whom they hire.
