My friend got busted with a "stolen" DNC credential ?

Hi. I'll make this short. About an hour ago my friend found a DNC "perimeter" credential on the ground and used it to get on a bus used to coach VIPs and delegates from hotels to Invesco field. He did get on the bus but got off and sprinted toward me at which time seven people in suits with guns surrounded him and started accusing him of stealing the credential at which point I got the h**l out of there. What can happen to him. He is not answering his cell phone.The credential was very generic and did not have a name or an organization or press indicator and it was listed as "perimeter". I'm scared for him seeing as he did breach a 50 million dollar security effort and managed to get onto a highly secured bus with VIPs and delegates.

He is probably being held for questioning and may also have been held on tresspassing charges and possibly lieing to authorities. He wasnt the smartest guy for trying to pass as an organizer for the Democratic National Covention

Well, he can say he didnt steal it, he found it, because he truly did, and all he wanted to do was try it out and see if it worked.

He did have an item of value i do suppose, so just talk it out, and you be a witness to say all he did was pick it up off the floor, and didn't steal anything.

He did get on a bus with creds he was not supposed to have. Or another spin on it is 'lied about who he was to breach security' He will either be recognized as a prankster or he is in trouble.
