My friend has a bite on her foot.

Question

my gf has a bite on her foot it has been there for two days. yesterday it was just a red, dime sized circle with a bite mark right beside it the bite mark was just a tiny dot but today it is a rough black circle with a bite mark beside it. the black circle is just a little bit bigger today. the black circle and bite mark are touching each other. can anybody tell me what this could be?

Possibly a brown recluse spider bite, only way to know for sure is to go to er or urgent care, I wouldnt bother with a family doctor on this one.

sounds like a spider bite- if she isnt having any other symptoms like numbness tingling in the foot, nausea, headache or vomiting i would just ice it to control pain and watch to see that  it doesnt get any bigger.  if she has those symptoms or the black circle continues to grow i would consult a physician ASAP

i dnt know where you live so i cant really guess wat animal (if it was an animal) did it but it sounds like a spider bite maybe or something, see a doctor and they will be able to tell you wat caused the bite and how to fix it but there are some pretty nasty stuff out there (flesh eating etc tht can be caused from white tailed spiders and some others) but it should b ok just go to a doctor as soon as u can
