My friend has a problem... HELP?

Question

ok so my friend has kinda like a lazy eye and she is really self concious about it, so is there anyway to fix a lazy eye? even with surgery i really want to make her feel better. plus she hated taking pix cuz she can never look straight at the camera.

So any suggestions?

I would have said the same thing as the first answer, put an eyepatch on the good eye to force the lazy one to focus.

There are surgeries that can be done.  Adult strabismus surgery is a little more complex then child, but possible.  I have had patients with great results.  Although the alignment might improve, there is little to no hope for the vision to improve.  

The surgeon will cut the corresponding muscles and stitch them with adjustable sutures.  At post operative appointments any subsequent adjustments can be made in office.

well you can wear an eyepach over your GOOD eye

it forces the "lazy eye" to not be so lazy [lol]

she wont have to wear it EVERYWHERE.

but she should wear it alot.

the longer she wears it, the quicker the results will be
