  2. Your friend would need to be willing to add a cable box. Then you would pay half of the entire Direct TV bill.

  3. no, just another box and there will be an additional $4.99 FEE.

  4. No second dish, $4.99 a month fee and I recommend having DIRECTV install. You can do it yourself but you need a multiswitch and not a splitter to add a receiver.

  5. You would just need another receiver...still, though, DirecTV would have to install it (run the cable, etc.)

  6. Yeah I think you do. I know i did when i had it.

  7. No! And you don't need an installer to come out either.  Just trace the cable on your friends TV back to the splitter and then run a new cable from the splitter to your room.  Then order an additional box for $4.99 a month and your in business.
