My friend has something with suicide?

This girl I am really fond of keeps asking me what life is about.One day she asked me if I knew any good and less painful ways of suicide. What do i say back? I dont want to hurt her. But keeping her close just pushes her away. Help! a life is in danger and it could be MY fault!

Wow, suicide. thats tough! Don't think that its your fault. Maybe she should take some counseling. Try to find out what interests her and see if you can have fun in a safe way. Talk to her and your parents or any other trustful adult, maybe they can help too.. Good luck!

let her know that if she hurts herself, she will also be hurting all the people around her, her friends, family, everyone.

just tell her to think about that.

not only will she end her own life, she will ruin many other peoples lives, and people around those people will be effected as well.

First of all, it is not your fault. And you are good friend to care. Be sure she knows that she is a precious human being and that you value her. Also keep stressing that life does get better. Everyone has ups and downs but things will get better. Help her understand that she can decide her own destiny and start making choices right now to improve her life. As for the best way to die: old age.

If she keeps asking what's life about I think that that's your opportunity to be positive and make her wanna live... Ask her what she wants out of life and when she tells you make plans with her towards that goal... Maybe she will have hope and forget all about the depressive past and hope for a great future... Do you know what's causing this depression... I would like to know that... Maybe you have gone through the same thing and you guys can get through it together... Don't give her any ideas to commit suicide tell her that you love her and that you would never want her to harm herself...

You need to tell someone. Your friend is reaching out for your help. If someone tells you they are going to commit suicide they need help. Call her parents anonymously. If she wasn't going to kill herself than she gets a little extra attention from her parents, but if she was, you just saved her life.
