But with fingers, she screams and tries to fight them off. Sometimes, she avoids the person who tried to tickle her for hours. I think she has a pathological fear of being tickled. I know there is a phobia of being tickled by feathers, but what about normal tickling?

  1. She should get some therapy. All that screaming just becuase someone is gonna tickle her for hours isn't normal.

  2. i think that if people who know her well know that she has this problem then they should not abuse it.

  3. I have heard of people who have had a phobia of being tickled. This could be the case with your friend. If so she needs to seek out a qualified professional to help her get over her fear. There is treatment available. Your friend may need some encouragement to seek help with her problem. However, if her condition is truly of a pathological nature then she really should consider doing so. Good luck to both of you. No one should ever have to go through life afraid of tickling.
