  1. How used are they?  They retail new at $105 at some places online.

    The reason that it's about three seconds faster than strap ins is because you just latch the back.  The top part that holds your boot down is already at a set tightness.  If ice forms on your baseplate, you'll have to re-adjust the top. Kinda pointless eh?  And the latch also wears out fast if you go often, especially on the newer models.

    Flows are something that most people try to stay away from, and I would recommend doing the same and staying away.  You get about three seconds shaved off of strapping in, and you can just strap in on the lifts too.

    Oh, and I've sometimes strapped in faster than some people with Flows.


  2. I would say if he's your friend that it's a good deal.  Because if he's ripping you off, he's probably not your friend.

  3. Yeah, that's a good deal.  However, I'd do a bit of reading up on flows if I were you though; make sure they're right for you.  They're extremely easy to use and strap on, but there are also cons(which I forget).
