  1. In Tunisia they get like 150 dinars a month i heard and rely on tips. It's part of the middle east so it might be a little similar to saudi, but they'd pay a bit more because saudi's a rich country

  2. look up exchange rate and cost of living in saudi. if it only costs 1 cent to buy a loaf of bread hes loaded.

  3. i used to live in dubai and calculated the details u have given into uae dirhams. yes that is about correct given his work and nationality.  it sound tough 7 days a week and yes it is pretty poorly paid but he has the choice to do the job or not i presume.

  4. How much would your bf make in his home country? Guess it would be less because otherwise he would not have taking a job in KSA.

As it was said before, the working hours are a bit long, but...............

Please be not offened by saying that with a better education your bf would not have to work as a cleaner. A cleaner in the UAE makes around USD 100 the month (but would be off Fridays).

There is a saying: You made the bed, now sleep in it.

    Take care.

  5. $40 per day * 30 days = $1200 = 4500 Saudi Riyals

That is more than enough to live on here.  His work hours are a little long, but it really depends on what his job is.  You didn't mention what his job is!  Where is your friend from?  If he's from a poor nation, then he's probably happy working hard here to save money to send home.

People in the US work for about $40 per day too.  Isn't the minimum wage $5.15 per hour?  Once they take out taxes, they get much less than that!!!  Many people can live on $1200 a month in the US, so definitely you can live in Saudi Arabia for that much!!!!

  6. this is enough as long as he is single, from the 4500 SR/month he should pay minimum 1000-1500 for accomodation, food and billing cost another 1000-1500, transportation: if he owns a car the fuel will be costless.

To get married it will be so tight.

  7. .....it's more to the minimum so it means his salary is ok plus there won't be income taxes to be deducted. He'll get the full amount of his salary......
