My friend just got pink eye today, help quick!

my friend just got pink eye today, and we hung out yesterday! Am i going to get it?! how do i prevent it?! what are the symptoms?! thanks!

Pink eye is highly contagious.  But you still may not get it.  The germs spread from touch.  So don't touch your friend's eye or her hand after she touches her eye or share a towel, etc.  Handwashing prevents spread.

if they touch there eye and your touch whatever they touched their eye with then use your hand to touch your eye lolz u will get it some symptoms are crusty like substance on your eye gooey substance, redness or pinkness in the white part of your eye and itchiness

"Pink eye." medically known as conjunctivitis could have been spread to you only if she rubbed or touched her eyes and later touched you or object which you touched, and then you touched your own eyes. If infected your eyes will get red and develop puss. In the morning if will be difficult to even open your eyes. However, If you do contract it, it's easily treated with antibiotics.
