Well, yeah.  When someone thinking that something dying is a funny thing, they have some serious issues.  He wouldn't be someone I would want to be friends with.

Yes. Laughing at dead things is totally weird. How would he feel if someone he loved died and someone else laughed about it?

to me, that's wrong because he is not soft heart..but maybe he did not realized how that bird will feel.

nope.  I've done that before.  I was sitting in the quad in college and all of a sudden a bird smacked the building next to me and dropped... the girl and I who were sitting there got a kick out of it.  And she was a hippie chick!
