My friend just went to school for heavy machinery (bulldozers, etc..)?

The school was like 3 months. And he says he has an offer to go to Alberta, Canada for 6 months and they'll pay him $140,000. Is this realistic, has anyone ever heard of people making that much money in 6 months?

Never heard of that.  Given that the hot market in Alberta and shortage of all types of labour,  it may be possible but you have to tell your friend about the skyrocketing expenses there.
