No, chicken fingers are not cat.

Some people in Asian countries do eat some species of cats and dogs. It's different there--it's not like they're eating their pet Fluffy, know what I mean... It's a cultural thing; some people in other countries--Mexico is an example--eat a lot of bugs as protein-filled snacks.

This is NOT to say that Chinese restaurants serve cat or dog or anything other than the meat you expect. I mention the above because I think that's probably why people made up that story, which is now something of an urban legend.

My friends used to joke about the Korean Chicken I liked by saying it was cat. I liked it. I ate it. Eventually, they tried it and to their surprise they're eating it now too.
