  1. He could have seen your cards, has some experience, it was assumable that you have that exact hand or he installed a camera behind you =O

  2. most dont go in pre flop with a bad many have a face card and a good card

or you exposed your hand so he could see it

some ccan tell pre flop because of the way you play but after the flop it is easier to tell because of how a player bets

  3. Well as you play poker more often, you'll meet players that'll will guess what you have.  Some times they'll guess right.

Now it's not just a blind guess.  They use pieces of information such as your betting habits, reactions, and what's on the board to guess what you have.

The pros will do it too.

So say somebody raises before the flop.  You could assume they have a good hand (two high cards).

If an Ace, Jack, and 7 come out on the flop.  And the person bets.  You'll assume they got their pair on the Ace.  They figure what their kicker is based on their bet before the flop.

There's all kinds of strategies and tips for Poker.

It's a great game and you'll be able to do the same after some more experience.

  4. He didn't know, he took an educated guess.  Part of poker is putting people on a range of hands.  Such as Top pair or better.  Depending on the action of the hand, you can narrow down the hand of your opponent.

This is very subjective, but winning poker players are more often right than wrong at this.

  5. Anyone can make a statement like that after the hand is over and he has seen your cards.  Doesn't make it true.

You can get an idea of what hand an opponent has based on the wide variety of information out there.  But few people would have the skill to put someone specifically on KT pre-flop.

And if he was sitting next to you, he may have seen your cards.

The other day I was playing and someone opposite folded in such a way that I caught sight of their hand as they mucked it.  Some players were trying to guess his hand after he folded, and I pretended to be guessing too, and told him he had AQ.  He was a little surprised and admitted I was right.  It wasn't any kind of skill on my part, he just mucked in a clumsy way that briefly exposed his cards, and I happened to be paying attention.  No one knew that I saw his cards, so people at the table just assumed I had used my skill to put him on a hand.  This in turn makes opponents fear you and respect you more, which you can later use to your advantage.

  6. No one is that good that they can know you have a KT in most situations anyway.  If the flop is a KTT or a KKT and you jump out of your seat and push your chips, take off your cowboy hat and wave it in the air and yell "yee-haw" that might be an exception :)
