why would you take your friend's money ? for what purpose ? and if you are uncomfortable with him, why and how is he your friend ?  there seems to be more to this than taking money.

if his making you feel uncomfportable for not taking it then take it. but if making you feel uncomfortable for any reason other then that then dont.. maybe they want something in return nothing ever for free
