My friend says she's a little late on her period. like a couple days.

She cannot tell her parents no matter what the cause.

how will she be able to obtain birth control pills/the morning after pills/or see a gynochiatrist (sp? ;women doctor) WITHOUT her parents knowing? she's 17

we know shes gotta tell her parents but she just cant. they wont understand, seriously. so please don't try and tell us that shes gotta tell her parents.

  1. go to planned parenting, they can give her info on a obgyn. In most states you have to be 18 to get the morning after pill though. I would just go to planned parenting and take a test, they are free and confidential. And if she IS then get set up with a obgyn. They can refer her to one at planned parenting when she does her proof of pregnancy. It is too late to take the morning after pill if she is already pregnant. You have to take that within like 48 hours of having unprotected s*x. Also, any obgyn appts will be confidential. If she has finacial needs then she can apply for medicaid but she will need her parents info like bank statements and things assuming that she lives with them. Hope i helped best of luck

  2. You can always go to a Public Health Department, they don't care how old you are.  And they wont make you have a parent present. Good luck!

  3. shes 17 shes old enough for birth control without her parents permission, its to late for morning after pill has to be taken 72 hour after unpretected s*x. she can just go to the doctors or womens clinic her parents wont find out, it confidental

  4. if shes already a little late then the mornig after pill wont work, but she can go to Planned Parent hood

  5. A couple days is nothing to fret about. Tell her to take a pregnancy test and see, that is the only way to know what she should do next.

She can go to Planned Parenthood to get on birth control for the future, although if she's already pregnant it's not going to help her now... The morning after pill is sold over the counter in most drugstores, I believe. But again, it's not going to help her now.

She can look up gynecologists in her area but she'd have to pay for it herself if she doesn't want her parents to know. There are free clinics where you can get blood tests done to see if you're pregnant though. She just has to do her research.

  6. the morning after pill can be sold at pharmacies like cvs/walgreens/etc.. have to be 18 to buy them though..

and they only work up to 3 days after having that s*x in which you might have gotten pregnant.

idk how to see a gyno w/o parents knowing.. doctor bill and all (insurance)

but to be honest, she's probably just panicky and anxious and can't get the thought of it off her mind therefore maybe her body is reacting to that and delaying her period. or her period isn't as late as she thinks it is..

give her a few good punches in the uterus..

    IM JUST KIDDING. lol

    not meant to offend ha
