My friend needs help with transportation, to run some errands. Where does she go. She lives too far from me?

I have a friend, who lives too far from me to be able to help her out. She needs to run some errands, but does not have transportation to do so, and doing it with public transportation and a two year old son, is not the solution. Where do you go to get help with this? Is there a service to get help with running errands?
