what's "weird" is your concern for your friend's urinary output.  set some boundaries and tell your friend to see a doctor.

If they have always doing this, then it should be normal. If it has started recently, then your friend may be dehydrated and not be drinking enough fluids. If that's not it, then there may be a problem with the kidneys, liver, or bladder itself.
