Say Gayle is at camp this week. The concert is on Thursday and Gayle would have to leave camp to go to her favorite bands concert. But Gayle's mom calls me and judy the morning of the concert and said Gayle wanted to stay at camp. Shouldn't Gayle's mom have offered the tickets? I am not that mad but Judy was invited to the concert by another mutual friend and declined because she was already invited by Gayle and now the mutual friend has no more tickets. Wasn't that rude of Gayle to ditch?

  1. I think that was inconsiderate of her. I guess the real question is did you pay for your tickets? If not and you still want to go then I think that you and Judy should call Gayle's mom and offer to buy the tickets from her, if she hasn't already sold them.

  2. That was highly rude of her. She could of at least let the two of you go.

  3. sure it was rude maybe her mom was the one that made her stay at camp don't just get upset with her find out the story when you see her

  4. Yes, the mom should have offered you girls the tickets. It was very rude of her, I agree, since you had planned your evenings and probably even your weeks around this event.

When Gayle gets home from camp, ask her what happened. It's possible that the mom found out about her plan, disapproved of either her leaving camp or of the concert itself (was it a band a mom would approve of?), and said she couldn't go.

The mom may not have given you and Judy the tix because she felt the concert would be innappropriate for girls your age. On the other hand, Gayle may have been promising away tickets that her mom planned to use herself. Find out from Gayle exactly what happened before you rush to judgement.

  5. I agree with you.  If Gayle had the tickets and was going to give them to you and your friend for going with her, then the Mother should have gone ahead and given you said tickets, regardless of whether or not Gayle would actually be attending.

  6. Yes. Never trust Gayle anymore.

  7. Obviously it was her mom who wanted Gayle to stay at camp. Why be mad at her?
