It's for her birthday, I guess most plants bloom in the spring but I don't really just want to give her some seeds or something that she wont be able to enjoy for ages. I'm totalyl clueless when it comes to outdoorsy things, please help.

  1. Get her a little fountain for the garden.

  2. A voucher for a professional gardner!  :-)

What about a simple water feature... or some of those solar lights?

    Just a thought

  3. You can give her an orchid plant!  Plant is for long life and prosperity.

Kindly greet her for me, too :)

    Take care.

  4. depends on where you live as to what blooms when

have you thought about a small bench seat? that way she can enjoy it anytime of the year, perhaps she has plans for her new garden as to what she wants to plant, thie would fit in no matter what her plans and give her somewhere to enjoy her garden from everyday

  5. Possibly a gazing ball, or maybe a sun dial. Also I like the bench suggestion.

  6. All the suggestions have been good.  You could also go to a nursery (or whatever they call places that sell plants in England) and find an attractive garden statue or pot.  Also, how about a gift certificate to a nursery so she can pick out her own plants.

  7. I am very pleased with the painting I received from photoartomation.com.

    The painting is absolutely beautiful!

I will definitely use this site to order gifts for people--including myself!

  8. Nice handmade portraits or paintings made from photos are always a good gift idea. You can find more such ideas at http://www.paintyourlife.com

They make all types of personalized and unique portraits on oil, pencil, charcoal, etc.

They also do wonderful photo-printing on canvas in different designs. Please take a look at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com for more information.

  9. Depends where you live - hortenza, acer is always very popular with the ladies who like their graden but expensive, hence why I don't have one :-)

  10. Gardening books given in September can help with spring planting plans. Subscriptions to gardening magazines are also good gifts for the end of a season that can last all year long.
