Triple C, or Coricidin Cough and Cold, is an over the counter medicine used for cold relief. A lot of people abuse it. When you take a lot of it you can experience hallucinations and an "out of body" surreal feeling. The "high" is caused by intake of a large amount of dextromethorphan (DXM), a common active ingredient found in many cough medications. A lot of people I know get addicted to it pretty easily, though I don't think the medication itself is addicting. People just like the feeling it gives them. It is very dangerous and has been known to cause death.
