Hello, Here I am so sad. You know my friend says he was refused a Visa. He says he paid a Lawyer to do his Papers? He says, he has no Receipt number or letter of refusal as proof. What is this? Can this be true?

Thanks,

Kaloni

  1. did you give your friend money for the lawyer to do his temporary visa? he most likely is just scamming you, honey. next, he'll probably ask you to send more money so he can apply for a visa again. of course he didn't have any proof coz he probably didn't even apply to begin with!

  2. Well, if your friend applied for a visitor's visa to the US, they don't give receipt numbers. They do usually give a refusal letter back, but it's not very detailed and probably wouldn't have his name on it. They usually put a stamp in the back of the passport. Is there some reason you think he wouldn't tell you the truth about this?

  3. Your friend should have an appointment letter or something stating he did apply. It is possible that he went to someone who is not a lawyer and takes money to do the visa paperwork. A lot of countries have these people and some are cheats.

Here in Jordan they do give conformation numbers for the appointment..

  4. I don't understand your question.

When someone is denied a visa, they will get a refusal letter. Maybe your friend just doesn't want to share the information with you.

  5. They always give a leytter of refusal opr at least a notice that visa is denied.  It's possible your friend for one reason or another, just does not want to show you the letter or it is possible that he dealt with an illegal fixer in working for his visa and so he was refused or denied a visa for that reason and he is ashamed to let you know the real reason.
