I told him about the things I believe,

and now he thinks that I'm developing schizophrenia.

I don't hear or see things.

I do look behind me, but not al day long.

My school didn't work out this year, but that was because of bullying. I don't work because I hate it.

I believe a few things no one else believes and even don't understand what I am talking abaut.

I don't walk strange.

I'm not agressive.

I don't have many friends

I have a very low self esteem

Well, I really don't know what I have to think of this. Could it be I'm developing it?

Please answer

  1. umm, i dont think your like crazy i think you have sever anxiety, go see a councellor cause they can DEFINETLY help but it is comon to mix up anxiety for craziness. I wouldnt be to worried, if no one in your family had it theres not a great chance you'll ahve it and if they did or do then the chance is higher but it honestly dosent sound like you have it, schitzo is where like you think the WHOLE WORLD is out to get you and you hallucinate and have like episodes and things..its possible you could ahve a mild case but i honestly doubt it.

  2. Oooooh, this is touchy, you better really listen yourself and try to relate it to the outside world as much as you can. A therapist I saw was even convinced I was developing paranoid schizophrenia once, and I was being as honest as I could with her while still going through severe trauma that didn't have anything to do with schizophrenia.

If you want to be sure, you have to be real thorough and go to a psychologist.

I know what it's like to believe things no one else does, and it doesn't have to mean you're totally crazy.

  3. YOu could just be a bit depressed which can cause problems with school and life in general or even a learning disability you don't know of.

Also people with schizophrenia aren't aggressive really.

It would help to actually know what thesethings you believe are so I can tell you if they are realistic or not.

  4. need more details, most likely not, but what things you believe?

  5. the symptoms of schizophrenia do NOT require hallucinations or delusions, its a combo of two of the following:

    - negative symptoms

    - disorganised or catatonic behaviour

    - hallucinations

    - delusions

    - disorganised speech

    for AT LEAST 6 months

so with that info i don't think its possible to diagnose and in my opinion, no you are probably more likely to be depressed (from bullying).  Another but very doubtful possibility is that you are having a Major Depressive Episode so possibly Bipolar.

But don't be disheartened i DON'T think you have either, but i wouldn't completely knock out depression as bullying would have been extremely emotionally damaging to you.

Anyway Cheer up!! Pretty d**n sure its not Schizo
