my friend told me she had s*x with her doctor, who is 47 she said. and she is 15. she had been seeing him for a while, without any one knowing. her doctor is married and has three kids, and one of them is in our class. the other day she threw up, and we bought a pregnancy test, and it was positive. then, her mom asked me if she knew what was wrong with her because she was acting weird. i told her i didn't know, but i think that was wrong. and now, some boys at school know, and they were making fun of her. she isnt showing yet, but should i tell someone. i'm the only one who knows, what should i do?!

This is a very serious accusation.

You seem to have sense of what's wrong or right and know this is wrong.

Persuade your friend to report this NOW, What you say happened is easily provable with simple medical tests.

Your friend can't hide this and needs much more help than trying to hide what happened. Her doctor also needs to face up to what he did.

A call to the police will start you off in the right direction.

You and your friend will NOT be in any trouble legally, in school or with your parents.

This is NOT your burden and you REALLY need to tell someone, for your friend's sake at least...

The 1st thing you need to do is call the cops the pedophile needs to be in jail were he will get whats coming to him im prochoice but she may want to get rid of the baby as hard as it sounds. a 15year old girl can't handle a baby or put it up for adoption at lest. depending on how far along she is.

It is illegal to have s*x with a minor and your friend is just that....a minor. This 47 year old doctor should be behind bars. You really need to tell someone about this. Go to her mom or your mom.

Tell her mother about it, seriously. Even if your friend doesn't want you to it's best. That's illegal and wrong. Tell her who that she is pregnant and it's because of the doctor, if not get police involved. If you're not comfortable with that tell your own parents what happened, they can help. Most doctors follow a strict proffessional code to keep themselves and their patients out of trouble.  Not to mention the stagitory rape situation, the Dr. Patient boundry has been crossed.  

          If your friend is pregnant, and if the child is his, then he took advantage of her.  A doctor is in a position of trust anyway, but a doctor with a MINOR is even more in a position of trust, and must act even more responsibly.  If he did take advantage of her there are serious problems.

          The first thing to do is to have your friend go to a seperate doctor.  If she talks to a doctor that has no relationship with this doctor she can get a documented record of what happened and how.  Since a doctor is forced to follow patient privacy the doctor cannot tell her parents or anyone until your friend decideds to.  I suggest the doctor she sees is a Gynocologist, that way she can get a partial paternaty test.  

       After your friend goes to the doctor, go with her to her parents and help her explain what happened.  I am sure they will be upset, confused and angry, and want to press charges.  They may even want to terminate the baby, and that is a choice your friend cannot make.  That is why she has to see the Second doctor first.   So she can get any evidence before her parents fly off the handle.  

             Next your friend should go to the police with her parents and file a police report of stagitory rape.  The police will ask a few questions but they will be very nice and helpful, and they will be very proud that your friend has planned so far ahead.   The next they will do is get a sample from the doctor to prove he is the father.    From then on things are in Gods hands.

Tell Your parents, the police or a teacher at your school what you have just said here. What the doctor has done is against the law. If your friend truly is pregnant, this doctor will never admit that it is his, never help her in any way with the baby and will never leave his wife and kids for her. This man needs to be put in prison.
