My friend told me that she is a sang vampire the other day?

And I had no clue what a sang vampire was so I googled it and does that really mean she drinks blood? Do you think she is just trying to freak me out or do people actually do that?

a lot of people say stuff like that cause they're obsessed with a book, or a show, or a game. They like it so much they want to be a part of it...so by telling their friends that makes them feel closer to the real thing........ask her where she gets this blood of hers that she likes to drink so much...,hope tis helps...:)))

Sanguine vampires are a type of vampire that feeds on blood. I personally believe that most sangs are just people with a mental need for blood or attention cravers. I myself seem to have characteristics close to that of a psi-vampire, which I have complete belief in. Edit to Kilroymaster: Please take the time to look up some vampiric beings from other cultures besides European. Many vampiric beings in legend have been or are considered to drain energy, rather than blood. Do you believe in succubi and incubi? Do you believe in the children of Lilith or the lili, lilu and lilitu of ancient Babylon? Do you believe in the lamiae of Greece? Do you believe in the tlahuelpuchi of Mexico or the vampires of Asia and Indonesia? If you are a real vampire hunter, you must've read the works of Montague Summers. He spoke of many other kinds of vampiric beings than the ones you always write about.

If she said she is, she probably is. There are quite a few, and we're nothing to be afraid of.

Don't treat her any differently. Her confessing to you that she really is shows how much she trusts you. She's not going to come breaking into your room in the dead of night in search of blood. Read The Black Veil (you can google it and get a few good results) if you don't believe me.

Sangs really do drink blood. Don't think we're evil. We need to drink it. We probably won't die without it, or at least very slowly, but it's torture. Just accept it, and don't try to change her. Well if she does then sooner or later she's gonna get HIV. Drinking blood will do that to you. I wish I was joking but these kids need to grow up and realise that there's no such thing as vampires and they are going to make themselves very ill.
