My friend wants me to sleepover at her house, but her parents fight a lot, and this scares me? ?

My friend wants me to sleepover at her house, but I don’t want to b/c her parents fight all the time, especially at night. When they fight I get scared and can’t sleep, we also have to be quiet when they fight. One night while I was there her dad and her mother was on the floor and her dad was holding her mother down by the wrists, she was saying:” I hate you, get away from me” and he kept saying:” I’m sorry”.

What should I do?

invite her 2 sleep at her house instead, and maybe when she sees how ur parents act, she will undertand y u dont wanna sleep at her house. :  )

Tell your parents.The will be able to talk to her parents. Your friend is in danger something must be done. She my want u over, because she is scared. Just be a good friend to her.

talk to your friend about it, if you dont like spending the night once, imagine her..she has to deal with that all the time. she is probably hurt by it.

I agree with the previous answer, maybe you should have her come sleepover instead...

If you don't feel good about sleeping over at her house then don't, you shouldn't put yourself in a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable or afraid.

honestly speaking, this may even hapmer your relation with the friend, but just for the positive side, report to your parents about the 'fight' taking place in her hose as it seems to be voilent and can even effect your own friend in future...!!!

secondly, about your sleepover, you can call her at your place instead of your going over to her's.....i know she'll understand you and wont mind...!!

First talk to your parents. They can guide you better than anyone. Ask them also if they could help  you talk to your guidance councilor at school, sounds like your friend could use someone in her corner as well.  Fighting like this in front of kids is child abuse!
