My friend wants to quit dance but I don't want to take it alone?

My best friend Christina wanted to take dance with me this year. I warned her that my academy has bigger classes and it's a lot faster than the one she went to. She promised me that she would do the entire year because I didn't want to do it alone. Now, only the second week of the class, she wants to quit. I can't afford to quit, not that I'd want to, but I don't want to take it alone either. I took dance alone for seven years, which is part of the reason I quit three years ago. What should I do?

Keep dancing...if your passionate about it, dancing without your friend will be sad at first, but you will eventually enjoy it alot again. Dance is such an incredible thing, don't quit.

Trust me, I would not quit. I danced for nine years and then quit right before my ten year trophy. It was a big part of my life, and I miss it so much. It's way to hard to get back into. Start making friends with your other dancers. It will make things much more enjoyable. Once you quit.. you'll miss being on stage more than anything. Keep it up.

i say keep dancing if it is something you absolutely love to do...don't let a friend hold you back in doing something that your are passionate...don't worry if it is a big class....just have fun...But don't ever stop doing something you love...

Keep doing what you do. Sometimes you got to make it on your own in the game. You aren't going to have someone there with you. I learned that through personal experience.  I wish you the best and I really hope you continue to do what you do!!

if YOU love to dance then keep with it! my best freind encouraged me to start dancign again at her studio with her. we were in ever single class together for abotu 3 years then she dropped out. i was moved up to the intermediate ballet with girls my age and now im in advanced oly 2 years later. ive made better friends in my ballet class. my other friend left me. she isnt even that close to me anymore. but i havent gotten so much farther
