she applied for the visa and then she got all of her papers prepared.they told herthat they think she was planning on marrying in the U.S. and that she asked for a visa 1 year ago.plus, that she didn't have papers from the doctor to prove that her friend was really in the hospital. but they had permission papers from our family ,along with other letters of permission.but, they never called to ask us or to check any of her references.

  1. Cause she's a terra-ist!!!!

  2. Because the Republicans and the Bush Administration needed some type of fall guy to take the attention away from their illegal and immoral actions as well as draw the attention away from the war and its costs.  Not only the monetary costs but the costs of the lives lost (They hide this so much that they will not even let anyone be there when the coffins arrive, too much of a chance of the press doing their job to let us know just how dear the costs are!).

The fall guys  are now the Immigrants.  They have led the Lemmings of this country into a rabid attack on not only illegal immigrants but ALL immigrants.  As a result, hardly anyone can come here unless they were born here.

  3. right now the gov't is swamped with applications both for visa's AND for domestic passports.  Probably just work overload and whoever was doing the visa's that day had pizza and a bad night the night before.

Who can explain the actions of red tape.  It's like trying to pin the blame on someone in a committee.

  4. Wow, i never actually believed our government turned anyone down.  Truth is stranger than fiction.

  5. Most likely her application didn't stand up to routine checking - and she was denied on grounds that the consul could adequately substantiate.  The basic thing that a consul has to establish is that the person intending to visit the U.S. has the means and the desire to return to his/her home country so as not to become a burden on the government of the United States.  If the consul had any doubt and could not clear away that doubt, the denial was within reason.

  6. Sounds suspicious, that's why!

  7. US immigration  law regards all applicants for visas as intending immigrants. It's their burden to prove otherwise, to the satisfaction of the interviewing consular officer. That's been the case for a very long time under both Republican and Democratic presidents. Maybe that's because almost everyone here is either an immigrant or descended from one. Visa applicants have to show such strong and convincing ties to their home country  that they would be compelled to return after a short trip to the US.  There's no strict path to do that, no set of specific papers or whatever that will guarantee success.  Strictly speaking, you can send letters offering to put someone up while they're in the US, (you don't have the authority to give permission to enter the US) the hospital can send a letter confirming the person is being treated, etc.but the person can still be turned down, if they can't convince the officer that they'll return. The fact that your friend got turned down for a visa a year ago, with a different reason for coming to the US probably didn't help either.  It's not a permanent thing. She can reapply in the future anytime she wants, but since she's been turned down twice now, chances are pretty good that it will happen again, unless something positive has changed in her life.

  8. it's actually quite hard to get in here. I had a exceptional student when i was living in china. He got denied because of the way he looked, he wasn't a tool, he was a man who would do his own thing. They told him straight off that they don't trust him, thought he'd stay permanently on his student visa.

She was pretty i imagine and they figured she had a plan. Tons of People get denied everyday. I don't know why they think they can make these judgements on who they think will overstay or not. They certainly don't have any proof or reason to think it. Seems to me like the best of people who get denied. idk. they told you why though. It's a second attempt and she doesn't have 'certified' papers. A note from you doesn't mean anything, it needs to be a letter from the corporation, it's the only people they take seriously. You as an individual are just a slave that can't be trusted.

  9. Because She didn't proved that her friend is in hospital.

Zipper, how sure are you?  are you working in embassy?
