My friend will visit canada as to tourist she from philippines, they plan to get married there?

my question is if my friend married there can she stay there for good or does she need to go back to philippines and do all the permanent resident thing? immigrant stuffs?

i've looked at the canadian embassy information already and they do not have answer for my question...and there is no such thing as fiance visa like here in USA ... i hope someone out here can enlighten me, us we would really appreciate it ...

my friend and her boyfriend are going 4 years now and they really want to get married and i can see how they are very inlove and they would do any possible means make sure we won't be separated anymore... please help

tell your friends to visit their respective Canadian Embassy and ask for the Sponsorship Guide IMM3900.

yes, she can get married there. no, she cannot stay. she still needs to go back to the philippines and do all that immigration stuff and wait for it to be processed and approved before she can stay in canada.
