My friend won't stop calling me ?

Question

I have a friend who constantly calls me. She calls me like, every day, maybe even a couple times a day. I have answered the phone and been like, " I'm kinda busy right now, can I call you back ? " and I never do ... Hoping that she would get the point. Instead the calls me back and I don't answer. I am getting tired of the phone ringing and it being her. I don't want to be rude and tell her to stop calling, but I really wish she would stop. Also, she happens to be a L*****n ... and I am a straight female. So, that kinda makes me even more weird about the situation. [I have nothing against g*y people, but I don't want her to have some sort of " crush " on me so to speak ...] Help ?

you need to talk to her about it but in a very gentle way tell her that your not to big on phone conversations and would rather get together every once and a while for a face to face instread of alot of smaller phone convos.  you can switch up the wording but i think u get the idea hope i helped

er, i think the word friend is a bot strong for you to use, seeing as you are not treating her like one. most normal friends call each other quite regularly, and i dont see what her sexual orientation has to do with it. Im actually surprised you have friends really if this is your attitude towards them

Tell her that she's a good friend and all and you'd like to talk to her but not 24/7, so that maybe if you wanted to talk to her YOU'D call HER.

i had the same exact thing happen to me ! except she wasnt a L*****n. and well we arent friends anymore, so i never did anything about the calling, but i think maybe you should tell her that you dont really like talking on the phone all that much . or are your parents annoyed with the calls ? you could tell her if they are. because i know my parents got soo annoyed !

trust me, if you keep ignoring her calls, shes just gunna keep calling and calling and calling ..

next time she calls just tell her calmly and simply "im sorry (my friend) but could you call me only during (whenever you are avalible.)

tell her about your problem, confront her. if she gets mad at you, that friendship isn't worth it. she will understand that you need space, plan a day with you guys and some buddies, she calls cause she probably wants attention, or wants to do something.

Wowww... That's a biggie. Well just finally pick up, have a little conversation, and then all of a sudden when the time is right, bring up, "You don't like me, as a girlfriend kinda thing, do you?" And then if you feel that you're getting this awkward vibe... Then chances are yeah she probably does like you. Or you could ask some of HER friends if they do the same to them.

Just let her know that you are sometimes busy and that you answer her all the time. You both friends, so should know the best way to present the matter to her.

PLease do not jump into conclusions just because she's g*y, she could just be playing a friend's role. Let her know how you feel.

just don't even answer the phone at all when she calls you..I had a friend like that. She used to call & I wouldn't answer..I would let it ring..then she would hang up and call right back..but I stuck with it..I never used to answer..she FINALLY got the hint and stopped calling

Well I Would Suggest, That You Tell Her Your Mum/Dad Has Confiscated Your Phone Or Something And Said You Cant Have It Back For Ages Because You Did Something Bad and You Can't Tell Her What!
