My friends and I are planning to go to cancun the week of April 21, and i have to try tp plan the trip. Advice

Question

the most we plan on spending is $800. this is a reasonable price because my aunt is a travel agent and gave me this quote. Also, we plan on goind for 5 days, so keep that in mind. If food is included than that will be great, but not a necessity

I don't understand why you are planing the trip when your aunt is a licensed travel agent.She should have access to more current information about hotels,flights, packages,blocked days, tours, etc.than anyone answering questions on Yahoo.

Am I missing something?

I would go to priceline.com search for vacation packages and make sure you get all exclusive package (includes food), If you want beach front make sure you get that as well . Then research everything you want to do (ruins,etc) see if there are buses avaliable to transport you. Not too hard you have enough $ , should be in good shape to have a fun time.

look for the all-inclusive deals they include your all you can eat and drink (alcohal)!!!! that is good because all you spend $$$ on is transportation and activities!  we went there on out honeymoon... it was the best we didnt worry for food and got drunk for free!

we planned ours thru expedia...stayed at Krystal...7 days...round trip transfer fron airport....and airfare....cost 1700. for two...that was first week in january...try MLT vacations...or Apple travel...good luck...very fun place...hotel is in perfect spot...
