My friends husband is sick in the hospital?

I have a friend she is some on i like. she is not my best friend but i like her. anyways her husband had a operation on his colon twice now. he is now in ICU . i was wondering because they say he might not make it. anyways i want to send Flowers to the family. do you think this is ok to do. or do i write a card thanks

They do not often allow flowers in ICU so I suggest the card. I am so sorry and pray he gets well soon. Of course flowers to the house would be lovely or perhaps that card with a restaurant gift card for a meal near the hospital. People often forget to eat when a loved one is ill.

It's ALWAYS ok to do something thoughtful, it doesn't matter for whom your doing if for. You'd be doing a good thing :-)
