My friends just got 4 house birds as pets. ?

They are tiny birds. My friends just got it one week ago. Three green ones and one white one. The only bird that seems to like to is the white bird. My question is how can i get the other birds to like me as well.

The white came on my hand and i fed it warlets for like 10 minutes =). After that everytime i put my finger near the white bird's leg and say "up" it comes on my finger. At first i could tell that the white bird really liked my but than my other friend and i tryed it over and over and i think the white bird got scared. In the cage, when the other three green birds are on one side of the cage and the shite bird is on ther other side of the cage, i use my finger and say up. The birds hops back a couple of times than i put my finger near it's leg and it comes on my hand. For only like five seconds than it goes back to hang on the metal cage. I think my friend and i really scared the bird unfournately =(. The other green birds dont even come near me. When i put my finger (for the bird to hop on it) all three of the birds just fly away as they are so scared. I have two questions to you guys. What can i do to make all the four birds seem more uncomfourtable around me and trust me. I really love all types of animals and i was so excited when i heard that my family friends got the birds. Can ou please help me 'cause i really hate to make the birds feel uncomfortable and/or scared. Also out of the four birds, two are male and the other two are female.

Im am sorry that the detail for my question is really long but could you please tell me an asnwer, 'cause i have no idea how to handle them.

What kind of bird are they?

Sometimes because birds have other birds to play with and to keep them company, they don't look to humans for companionship or even friendship. Having more than one bird can be difficult for anyone to get really attached to all if any of them. You really just need to be patient and calm with all of them. Try taking one bird out of the cage at a time and moving it to a different area away from the other birds. Move slowly and softly with that bird. If they are biters, you really just have to wait for them to decide they want to see you. If you try to force a bird, they remember it forever.

Most larger birds really like to please their people. So make sure that when they do something good that you praise them. Its great if they step up, so make sure they know your happy. Simply saying "Good Bird" in a very positive tone can let them know that you are happy with them.

Even now, after a week, the birds could all be scared still. A new environment, new people, it's all changed for them so they need time to adjust. You need to be persistent with them so every time you see them, talk to them, be calm and sound nice.
