  1. I've been using a steamer for the last 5 years. It's worked well and fine and beautifully for me. Ironing was never so quick and fast!

Try the brand NOVITA. They are good. Price range about S$250 onwards. Available from Harvey Norman (that's where I bought mine), Best Denki and Courts.

Ask the sales personnel to give you a demo before making your decision / purchase. They will do it.

    Good luck!

    ;p

  2. Hi there,

I do own a steamer myself and it personally works pretty well for me. It takes awhile to get adjusted to the way you handle it but for me, it's so much easier to get the crinkles smooth then with a iron. I do not even have to worry about adjusting the temperature according to the material (Despite my mum saying that it's only suitable for cotton etc).

There are several brands in the market ranging from less than 100 to above 200sgd. Being a skeptic, we bought a basic steamer, Morris @ about 88sgd and it worked well for me =) Just have to be careful of the hot steam...

Oh do try looking on the market for other brands and their functions =)

  3. My friend owns one and he said that he can't get the wrinkles off some of his clothes no matter what he does with it. My colleages & I bought it for him as a house-warming present a few years ago. Apparently, it's not suitable for all fabrics.
