My friends tv is playing up!!?

he keeps losing signal,,its not there thro the day and seems to come bk at night,,when its not there,it says weak or missing signal,,,any help appreciated!!!

It would depend if it is cable or satelite. The fact that it is only affected during the day makes me think it's satelite. If it is satelite, I would first get the dish checked out to make sure it is pointing the right way. If that doesn't work, try checking the co-axial cable. One degree off could mean the difference between full signal or no signal. Also, make sure there are no obstructions in the dishes line of sight. Hope this helps.
