My full tilt poker game keeps saying my connection is bad but my wireless is fully connected. Any ideas?

  1. It could be a number of things.  First, if you have an anti virus or firewall, make sure Full Tilt is allowed to access the internet.  Also, make sure you allow Full Tilt to update software when it needs to (it will automatically prompt you when updates are ready).  

    You may be fully connected, but other factors might affect connection quality, such as the amount of other computers accessing through the wireless signal, spyware, and clogged web cache.  Perform the regular maintenance by running spyware removal programs and do disk cleanups, etc.  If you have your own wireless router, enable security features (set it up for password protection).  If you are piggybacking off of someone elses' signal, then there isn't much you can do except get your own connection and set it up yourself.


  2. every now and then i have that problem. i have found that if i close out the site and reopen it everything is fine. if you sign out then back in full tilt will return you to the game you were in.

    solutions in answer #1 are important too.
