My future husband and I are trying to do a hot rod themed wedding?

We both are deep into the hot rods and rat rods and want to incorporate them into our wedding. We got everything we need so far except invitation ideas. I can't find anything on the internet that might help with the wording. Its like nobody has ever done one before. So if anybody has any ideas for hot rod themed invitation wording, I'm all ears. The wedding is 6 weeks away and we need to get these invitations out....Thanks!

  I have to disagree with guest 5518. To begin with 8 weeks is way to early, people tend to forget about it by then. The proper time is 4-6 weeks depending on if you have out of state guests coming. I myself will be sending my invitations out 5 weeks ahead.

  A wedding with just colors is boring and has been done to death. (Color is not a theme, its a decor.) You go girl! Its YOUR wedding, put your signature wedding. Our wedding will be a hot rod rock n roll theme, because that totally describes our life! We have actually designed our invitations on 45 records, we designed our own label to look like a mag wheel background and a record label design.

   Just put it in your own words. Design your own invitation on your computer. For $20 you can buy an invitation program. Put a picture of you two with your hot rods as the background and write the time, place and date on the front. Have fun with it!
