Question:

My gas blower will not run unless the choke is on

If I turn off the choke (normal runnning) it will sputter and die. What should I look for?

  1. Either a dirty fuel filter, it is in the gas tank, or the carburetor needs to be rebuilt.  The diaphragm in the carb is the fuel pump, if it is bad or weak you will not get enough fuel.  You can get a rebuild kit for about $15 and it is an easy job.
