My great grandmother just told me about my paternal great great grandmother whose name might be Silvia?Savanna?Sivan?or something that sound like those.Her married name was Ervin but her maiden name was Brown.She was most likely born in S.C. around very late 1800's and she died here around the 1960's.She had many children but my great grandfather name was Willie Ervin who served in World War I. i need help finding her parents and husband name.

  2. Do you have any other clues?  Any other kids names or the dates of your ggrandfather?

    There were 3 Willie Ervins from SC that had WWI records.  Do any of these names ring a bell?.

    Can't find much about either Willie or Silvy. But, if I have the right lady, it lists her parents' names, at least. PS If Willie was born in 1915, he would have served in World War 2 (he'd have been only 3 when WW1 ended in 1918).
