  1. Get another gerbil of the opposite s*x, preferably a female in heat.  Put it in a little cage, then put the little cage inside a bigger one.  Make a maze around it.  Persistence will get him in, and he won't have time to scurry out before you block it off.  Check it every few hours.  No self respecting male animal can possibly ignore the call of nature.

  2. if you have a cage that he can get back into, then leave it on the floor with the door open.

You could also buy a humane rodent trap, and set it out for him.

I lost my mouse once and the way I got him back was to put his wheel on the floor and waited in the dark. The only reason this worked was b/c he spent the majority of his waking moments running that wheel, so I was pretty confident he would come back to run.

  3. I think there was this actor, Richard Gere, who may have some advice on that subject.

  4. if you bait a mouse trap with pellets you could probably catch em.

  5. My gerbil did the same thing. We left little crumbs leading back to his cage. He eventually came back within the next day.

  6. my hamster gets out all the time all i do is before you go to bed listen to see if u hear any thing  if you don't its ok just go to bed usually you'll hear them walking ONCE I FOUND MINE IN THE WALL BEHIND MY MICROWAVE

  7. put his food dish and a water dish in the middle of the room that he got out in and wait bye it. he may come or he may not. You should do this at night, so he is active when you are waiting for him. I hope you find him!
