My gerbil has a big lump on one side of her belly. She's losing fur near her privates too.?

my gerbil is walking funny. she is losing fur near her privates, and the fur that is there is yellow and gross. she is very bony, and i can feel her spine. her tail is always sticking out.

I can almost guarantee she has a tumor either on her scent gland or inside her abdomen. If it is messing with how she walks, it needs to be removed.

If she is losing hair, she may need to be euthanized since it has progressed so far without treatment.

Shame on you for not taking her to a small animal vet.

How would you feel if you had a tumor larger then your head that no one would let you see a doctor about?

get her to the vet now don't wait just put her in a box and go, it more likey a tumor and you have to get it fix, or bye bye gerbil
