What is the safest and cheapest way to get medication for her diabetes. Are there any sort of government aid programs or any other types?

  1. also try diabetes.org they may have resources.

  2. There are free clinics and also clinics that charge by your income.  Many manufacturers of the drugs will help you get the medications.  Sometimes they are free, sometimes you have to pay some..

  3. I think Montel Williams sponsors something, but you should try to google, something like...free benefits for diabetics...you should find something.

  4. It's very critical that she find another job that offers health benefits, ideally one in city, county, state, or federal government.  Large companies also have good ones, but sometimes they'll make you wait a year before covering pre-existing conditions like diabetes.  Diabetes medications and supplies are very expensive, don't rely on clinics.  If she works, she will make too much money to qualify for government aid, and probably too much to qualify for aid from the pharmaceutical companies as well.  So help her find a good job that she can grow with over the years.
