The NY Mets never had a pitcher that pitched a no hitter.

They won the World Series in 1969 and 1986. They lost it in 1973 and 2000.

They play at Shea Stadium since 1964. They are opening a new stadium called Citifield next year.

The only All Star game played at Shea Stadium was in 1964. Johnny Calison of the Phillies won it with a Homerun.

Alright you can talk about how the Mets have been doing a lot better recently since Willie Randolph was released. How David Wright is a beast at 3rd base and hit his FIRST ever walk-off home run the other day. Also how Jose reyes is lightning quick, and talk about ow the NL east race is gonna be a fight but you think the Mets will pull out on top.
