My girlfriend and I are breaking up. I now realize I don't want to. HELP!?

I initiated a "break" between my girlfriend of a year and a half. And now it seems that she doesn't want to get back together. I've come to realize I might have messed up the best relationship I've ever had (at least as far as it seems). I still love her so much, and I don't want to accept what i (partially) put in motion. I've been trying to make things better for the both of us, but my own insecurities brought us to where we are. Is there any hope, or should I just accept it for what it is, and d**n myself for jumping the gun? After talking to her I realize I don't want this to happen.

Help!

  1. Talk to your girl-friend, care for her more, fix your relation-ship, and sweeten it , i m sure it will work out just fine, because many relations fail due to the lack of communication. so my friend , just talk . good Luck....

  2. No man, dont you worry.  'So many fish in the sea'.  I get to thinking as i look back, i shouldnt have let her go, or i shouldnt have let that one go, or this one, etc....

    An afternoon of thoughts like this and i realize i'd have a harem by now if i didnt let some go!  and a harem is just not legal here. ;)

  3. if u know she loves you, and if u love her as much as u say, u'd fight for her and do anything to get her back. there's hope if u know she loves you. and also try to put your insecurities aside, it doesn't help the situation.

  4. Let it go.  It was put into motion and now she knows you were questioning your relationship. That does not make her feel very loved. Let the breakup go through.  If your relationship was meant to be, it will come together again when both of you are more mature.

    You can find love again.

  5. geeez.

    let it go.

    things will happen if they were meant to happen.
