How do I tell my girlfriend that those clothes she put on her baby are not cute? She bought him a little outfits to look like Kurt Cobain, including an old cardigan that was at the Salvation Army.

  1. thats cute its her son chill a bit

  2. what's it to you how she dresses her kids? everyone has different style and tastes -  we don't all have to look the same you know.

  3. Clothes are worn to 1) cover up nakedness and 2) keep us warm and dry.

If the clothes she buys do these things, it is fine.  The kid isn't old enough to be humiliated by it.

If however the clothes are too provocative (either revealing or with s**y messages) just tell her you don't think it's healthy.

  4. grundgie clothes are comeing back

  5. Just tell her you don't like the clothes.  Chances are she is going to tell you she doesn't care and keep dressing them the way she does. Unless you feel like buying new clothes for the child, there's  nothing you can really do.  Also, be careful how you word it if the child isn't yours.  You'd have no right to tell her how to dress her children if you aren't a parent to them.

  6. Awww.  That sounds super cute.  ;)

Seriously, what difference does it make?  She will be offended no matter how you tell her.

  7. try buying her kids some clothes. Clothes you think are cute, and see what she says.

  8. You know what you can do you should go with her too the mall or any clothing  store and go shopping with her for the kids because telling her you probably gonna hurt her feelings people have diff rent ways how they feel unless you know how too say it too her that  she will not get offended  helping her is the best answer though .

  9. everyone has different tastes, just because you do not like it doesnt mean others wont

  10. Does the kid have a place to stay? clothes to wear and food to eat? if so mind your own business. Not everyone is all consumed by toddler fashion.

  11. She maybe reflecting her personal style through her children. Think about how shw dresses. She may not be one to invest in expensive clothing because kids grow so fast, the baby won't have it very long. Think about these things before you hurt her feelings. If you don't care for the baby's clothes then Pick up a few outfits for christmas or his bihday.

  12. He has clothes on thats what matters.  Who cares what is "cute"

  13. If it bothers you, there's no harm in coming straight out and saying it - speak your mind! ...Although I can't guarantee you won't be laughed/ spat at!

  14. It's equally possible that she finds the things you choose for your child are too precious, too sweet or just plain silly.

If you want to keep your friendship intact, I'd overlook it.

  15. I think thats adorable.  At least the kid will grow up with style, as opposed to those ever popular sheep-like tendancies.
